BBQ-Car Wash T2B Donation Event
Reiki-Do participated yesterday, August 10, 2007, in Dr. Beleutz’s annual Transition to Betterness Car Wash/BBQ donation event. The event took place from 11 am to 5 pm, in Leamington, at 24 Oak Street East Plaza. All proceeds go to the Leamington District Memorial Hospital for 2 Palliative Care Rooms.
Transition to Betterness (T2B) is a charitable organization that has been providing cancer patients and their families within the Windsor & Essex County community a comfortable and compassionate hospital setting (since 1996).
Dr Beleutz’s annual fundraiser for Transition to Betterness is an event that echoes in many people’s hearts, bringing them together for a noble cause. This year was no exception, as the community responded even more generously than last year to the call for compassion and active involvement in helping cancer patients in Essex County.
Reiki-Do donated 20 Gift Certificates, a total value of $800, that were offered to those who made generous donations.
