Yesterday, Saturday July 29, 2006, from 9am to 5pm, Reiki-Do hosted the first annual Holistic Health Fair at the Leamington Marina. This event was intended to relax, refresh, and revive people’s Mind, Body and Spirit, through different natural health modalities.
The Leamington Marina was a charming and picturesque setting for a gathering of healing and learning that everybody enjoyed and appreciated. In that space of serenity and oneness, we remember who we are and take that precious moment to honor everything in and around us.
Despite the hot and humid day, the event had a large echo, more than 100 people, both local people and tourists, visited the Fair. They had the opportunity to buy natural products, to have mini-treatments, or just to inquire about the benefits of the alternative methods of healing presented there.
The healing modalities on site were: accupuncture, aromatherapy, crystal healing, massage, reflexology and Reiki. Also vendors offered books, CDs, crystals, incenses, as well as a large selection of natural and organic products.
A holistic fair is a gathering of joy, peace, love, and healing. It brings together people with different views on life and health, people with all kinds of social, economic or ethnic backgrounds, but sharing the same interest in holistic healing and natural healing methods.
