I maintain that cosmic religious feeling is the strongest and noblest incitement to scientific research.

As we know, health has a multitude of meanings. We use the term health to qualify our physical, emotional, and mental state, but very few use it to qualify our spiritual state. Health is the state where we achieve our ideal form, at all levels: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. This ideal form is the highest and clearest expression of who we are. Pain and dis-ease happen when imbalances occur in the ideal form. In this respect, Reiki is a powerful healing modality that can assist people not only maintain their health, but also re-create it, and has deep healing effects at all levels: body – mind – spirit.

The word healing has a somewhat different meaning from the widely accepted meaning. It is commonly accepted that healing means curing of symptoms. The other meaning of healing, used in the practice of Reiki as well as other energy healing arts, is the return to our ideal form and the integration with a greater wholeness. In this context, a healer is a person who uses energy for the purpose of self-healing. For lack of a better word, we call Reiki practitioners or other energy therapists and spiritual helpers, healers.

This website is committed to promoting Reiki and other energy healing arts. We aim to educate people about holistic ways of achieving health and wellness. We also promote those people who are already on the path. We try to create a space were energy practitioners can have a meaningful exchange of opinions, and more than anything else, we strive to be a voice of hope and trust for all the healers in search of solutions for a healthier, happier Earth.

Our material world, consisting in solid, liquid and gas objects, linearly ordered in space and time, has already started to melt into a larger world of different types of manifestation of all the existing levels of energy in Universe, where the four-dimensional space-time continuum is dissolved in a unique field of possibilities.

Keep in mind, please, that our site is only beginning to take shape and that it is constantly growing. We would appreciate your opinions and suggestions about topics you would like to read about.

All men dream: but not equally.
Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity.
But the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it possible.

Rei (pronounced ‘ray’) is Japanese Kanji for Universal, Ki (pronounced ‘key’) is the Kanji for Life Energy and Do (pronounced ‘doe’) is the Kanji for Path, or Way. Reiki-Do is Japanese for “The Path of Universal Life Energy”, or more poetically, “The Way of the Light”.

Reiki is used on this site with two meanings. When it is written in italics, Reiki has the general meaning of Universal Life Energy. When is written in normal characters, Reiki has the more specific meaning of Ancient Healing Art rediscovered in Japan at the beginning of the 20th century by Mikao Usui sensei.
