General considerations about Reiki sessions

There are a few different types of Reiki Sessions. All of them induce a deep relaxation state, boost energy levels and strengthen the immune system.

If you are not sure what type of healing session you need, we will recommend the one that is appropriate for you. The rates of the Reiki Sessions are the same, regardless the type of session.

A typical Reiki session takes 60 minutes, but it can go up to 90 minutes. The client, fully clothed, lies on the treatment table in a low-lighted room while relaxing music plays in the background. Our hands remain in a stationary position, gently on or slightly above the body through a sequence of positions from head to toe, lasting 2-5 minutes each. Sometimes we use the standard hand positions prescribed by the Western schools, other times we prefer to use a more intuitive approach specific to the Japanese schools. The private areas are worked on a few inches above the body. Unlike the massage, there is no manipulation of the skin or tissue.

All sessions are performed individually or by both of us. However, our clients seem to prefer our combined yin/yang energies, which is a very powerful healing experience and offers them best results in half the time. The uniqueness of our combined sessions stands out as our own energetic trademark.

Reiki sessions have a short-term effect and a long-term effect. This is the reason why it is important to have the sessions spaced out appropriately.

Each treatment eliminates a layer of the problem. It’s important to remember that, whatever is troubling us, ‘we didn’t get this way overnight’ and we won’t ‘recover overnight’, either. Healing takes commitment and it takes time.

Our Reiki Sessions

Reiki and other healing arts

Sometimes, we recommend other natural healing modalities in addition to Reiki sessions.

Other times, we suggest changes in one or some aspects of your life.

Reiki sessions work perfectly as a complement to any other healing method, natural or conventional.

In all the cases, we do not interfere with the conventional health care system. To find out more, please read the Disclaimer form.

« Light Reflection »

All men dream: but not equally.
Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity.
But the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it possible.
