Reiki on Dr. Oz Show

It is a good sign that the mainstream media begin to show interest in alternative medicine and particularly in Reiki as an important part of energy healing. This exposure comes from the fact that more and more renowned specialists and researchers in the medical field acknowledge the contribution of alternative treatments to the general health […]

European roots of Thanksgiving

In almost every society there is a ceremony where people express thankfulness for life’s blessings. In agrarian societies, these ceremonies were directly connected to the harvest season. As evident from most of the cultures, people would associate these with harvest festivals in gratitude of the God who protects them and their crops. In Britain Harvest […]

Sad Anniversary for Qigong

This year marks a decade from a very sad event not only for the Qigong community, but also for the entire humankind: the ban on Falun Gong and the wave of persecutions against its practitioners that followed. Maybe not everybody knows or remembers the development of the events, so I will give here a short […]

The Benefits of Reiki for Hospitalized Clients

Complementary therapies are increasingly recognized as therapeutic in today’s hospital setting. Reiki is a healing energy practice that has been shown to enhance the results of medical interventions and treatments. Reiki is inexpensive, easy to learn and convinient for the client to receive. Love, Gratitude, and Reiki to water

Emoto believes that if human speech or thoughts are directed […]

The Effect of Reiki on Seed Germination and Plant Growth

There hasn’t been much research done on Reiki or more generally on energy healing out there. Science cannot measure such fine energies. All we can do for now is observe and measure their effect. The influence of Reiki Energy on humans is a controversial subject, due to the possibility of a placebo effect. On the […]

The Rosebud Experiment

Saturday night, my 17-year-old daughter brought home a rosebud. The poor little flower had been kept without water for a few hours and it was dying, but she put it in water anyway. Sunday morning she changed the water and put it in a little crystal vase. I suggested that she give Reiki to it. […]

This energy is composed of different specific energies, which constantly move and transform into one another. This week's
« Light Reflection »

All men dream: but not equally.
Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity.
But the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it possible.

T.E. Lawrence
(1888-1935)
