Love, Gratitude, and Reiki to water

Some of you may have already heard of Dr. Masaru Emoto, either from one of his books Messages from Water, or from the movie What the Blip do we know? both of which contain photographs of water crystals next to essays and words of intent.

Water CrystalEmoto believes that if human speech or thoughts are directed at water droplets before they are frozen, images of the resulting water crystals will be beautiful or unpleasant-looking depending upon whether the words or thoughts were positive or negative. His studies demonstrate that music, prayer, spoken or written words, or simply thoughts in front of a water container can modify the quality of that water, which results in a change in the way that water crystalizes.

Those who practice Reiki already know that giving Reiki energy to a glass of water changes the quality and the taste of that water.

In 2006, Emoto published a paper together with Dean Radin and others in the peer-reviewed Explore: The Journal of Science and Healing, in which they claim to have proven in a double blind test that approximately 2000 people in Tokyo could increase the aesthetic appeal of water stored in a room in California, compared to the water in another room, solely through positive intention.

Now Dr Masaru Emoto is taking a step further in his quest for healing the waters of the world. He is organizing a Ceremony to Send Love and Gratitude to the Water of Lake Baikal and the Waters of the World. This Ceremony will take place on the Shaman Rock of Olkhon Island, the biggest island of Lake Baikal in Siberia, Russia, on August 3rd between 5pm and 6pm, local time.

He invites everybody to join in this ceremony. To find out how you can do it, please visit Emoto’s webpage:

  • If you can, go to a body of water near you (lake, river, ocean). Alternatively, print or bring on your computer screen the picture of Lake Baikal from Emoto’s website, a pictures of the Great Lakes, or a picture of a body of water in your hometown
  • Put a glass of water or a bigger container that you can share afterwards with family and friends, in front of you
  • Start the ceremony with the words suggested by Masaru Emoto:

    We dedicate our sincere Prayer
    of Love and Gratitude
to the water of Lake Baikal,
and the waters of the world.

    Water, We Are Sorry,
    Water, We Respect You,
    Water, We Love You,
    Water, We Thank You.

  • Send these beautiful thoughts and blessings to the water in front of you, to the waters in your hometown, and to the waters of the world. You can hold your hands around or point at the container of water in front of you
  • For Reiki practitioners, after saying the prayer, send Reiki for at least half an hour to all the waters in the world, including the water in front of you
  • Drink water and enjoy sharing it with family and friends.

Blue PlanetWe all know that life on Earth depends on oxygen and water. Our precious and essential resources, however, have been seriously affected by pollution all over the world. Most of the time, we take the air we breathe and the water we drink for granted. We pollute them thinking that Mother Nature will take care of it. Unfortunately, we reached the point where this can’t be done anymore. We have to take a stand and we have to actively help the Earth heal from the wounds inflicted by humans.

Many thanks from the Reiki-Do team to Dr. Emoto for inviting us to this ceremony, and to everybody who chooses to get involved in this project.

Dori, Thanks for always being on top of things and sharing them with us. I found the article so very interesting, that I felt a need to join in the Pray and Reiki and take part in helping to heal and undo what we have done to our waters.
    Again, Thank You,
    Lynn

When we started the one-hour Reiki session for the waters of the world we felt we are not alone in this. Thank you for joining us.

It was unbelievable, the taste of the water at the end of the one-hour Reiki session! We shared it with friends and they said they had never thought water could taste so sweet! Such a blessing to be part of something so meaningful…

After the 30-minute Reiki session for the waters of the world, I poured myself a glass of water from the container that was in front of me. It is true, the water tasted unbelievable. Than I decided to try a little experiment on my husband Joe. I took two glasses, one with the reikied water, and the other one with water right from the tap. I had him taste from both of the glasses and asked him which one he liked more. Surprisingly enough, he picked the one that had not had Reiki. I wonder how this was possible…

    Dear Lynn,
There could be a few different reasons for Joe’s unexpected choice.
First, the taste of the Reiki-treated water is slightly different from the regular water. But this half-hour Reiki session made the water taste very different from what we generally know as water. The water tasted so different that somebody who does not drink Reiki-treated water on regular basis may not even think that it is in fact water.
Furthermore, it is in the human nature to stick with what it is known and resist changes. If Joe usually drinks tap water, it is quite natural for him to pick it out, as this is what he knows and is used to.
I suggest you give him at least one Reiki-treated glass of water daily, and repeat the test again after 3 weeks then after 3 months. I am sure that the results will be different.

All men dream: but not equally.
Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity.
But the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it possible.
