Second Annual Holistic Health Fair at Colasanti’s

Kingsville Reporter, Tuesday September 18, 2007

In response to the increasing demand of the general public in the Essex County, Reiki-Do Natural Healing Centre is announcing the Second Annual Holistic Health Fair at Colasanti’s Tropical Gardens, Ruthven, on Saturday, September22nd from 9a.m. to 5 p.m.

Some of the healing modalities on site will be Aromatherapy, Chiropractic, Massage, Magnetic Massage, Reiki, Reflexology, and Psychic Readings. Holistic practitioners will perform live demonstrations and consultations, and also give mini-taster treatments. There will be a variety of vendors selling books, CDs for relaxation and meditation, crystals, candles, incenses, organic products, soaps, natural skin care products, nutritional supplements, and much more.

Natural healing methods have been known for millennia, in every ancient civilization. According to traditional Chinese medicine, the four pillars of preventive medicine are bone fixing, deep tissue manipulation, healing with food and herbs, and energy healing. In our days, this would correspond to chiropractic, all massage techniques, nutrition, and all methods of energy healing. Western medicine is increasingly finding that these natural therapies are a complement to all other medical or therapeutic techniques as an effective way to relieve side effects and promote recovery. Every year, this event attracts more interest and raises people’s awareness of holistic healing and practitioners in this area.

All men dream: but not equally.
Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity.
But the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it possible.

T.E. Lawrence
(1888-1935)
