Qi Gong at The Marina

We practice Qi Gong (Chi Kung) in our living room or on our deck when the weather allows it. This year, we decided to use the beautiful setting of the Leamington Marina and the unique energy of Lake Erie and do our exercises under an early morning sky.

Lotus openingOur dear friend Lynn, who is also a Reiki Practitioner, decided to join us in this experience. All three of us wrote it down in our busy schedules, so that it would be done without any complaints or excuses. We picked Monday and Thursday, from 8 am to 9 am for this experience. Also, we carefully chose a quiet and inspiring spot by the Marina Pavilion where the shore faces the lake on the East.

Lifting the SkyIt was an amazing idea. Practicing it on the deck or in the backyard, compared to the shore of the lake made a great difference for somebody with almost no Qi Gong experience, but with experience in Reiki or other energy healing modality. More than that, the energy around the lake was different every time. Some mornings it was extremely powerful, some others it was calming and soothing. The combined effect of the energy accumulated through Qi Gong and the energy of the lake was definitely why we felt so energized for the rest of the day.

Tea timeAfter the Qi Gong practice we sat at a picnic table to have a cup of tea or coffee, enjoy the breeze, and share our experiences.

Since the weather was still nice and seemed to co-operate with our little project, we decided to extend our Qi Gong by the Lake practice into October, usually on Mondays and Thursdays, from 9 am to 10 am. Of course, our practice days may vary depending on the weather.

Anyone who might be interested or tempted to join us in this experience is more than welcome to do so. Just contact us to confirm your attendance and for details about the exact location, time, and other questions you might have.

It is with great love that we dedicate our efforts to changing this beautiful and challenging planet, one project at the time. Please, do not hesitate to give us your valued opinion or new ideas.

Each time I am practicing Qi Gong at the Marina is a new experience. It’s amazing to be able to feel the mixture of Reiki, Qi Gong and Lake’s energies.

I was glad that our Qi Gong class is back after a week-break. And I realy enjoyed today’s conversation about the Judas Gospel and the Da Vinci Code, right after the Qi Gong practice. When you hear the Truth you know it, because it makes you feel good!

All men dream: but not equally.
Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity.
But the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it possible.

T.E. Lawrence
(1888-1935)
